Radio control helicopters has gotten very popular lately because it’s fun and there’s a very short learning curve when learning how to fly these helicopters. Another great thing about radio control helicopters are you can get them for under $30. All of the best radio control helicopters under $30 is from the company Syma. Here are the best three Remote Helicopters for the year 2013:

#1: Syma S107/S107G

Features:

You can fly two helicopters at the same time with it’s 2 select-able frequencies

3 full channels: up, down, left, right, forward and backward

Prefect for indoor flying

Small in size

Metal frame for durability

Gyro which makes it easy to control

Pros:

Remote has two joysticks and has a short learning curve. Left side only moves up/down and controls the speed of the rotors. The right side of the joystick moves up/down and left/right.

The S107 model is very durable. I’ve seen it crash into walls, fall from very high, crash into tables and more and it still doesn’t break. If something does break, almost every part of the S107 is replaceable.

Lots of mods are available for the S107 model which is a surprise considering it’s just under $25 radio control helicopter.

Cons:

The Syma S107 model is light which makes it impossible to be used outside if there is any wind involved.

Overall, the Syma S107 is the best radio control helicopter due to the fun factor, price and quality of the helicopter.

Buy the Syma S107/S107G Helicopter

It has happened to all of us before and it sucks. It feels like you’ve lost your computer and the important data along with your computer. It isn’t hard to fix your computer after a virus attack with a simple reformat, but it would take some time and the infected files are lost forever. Even with anti-virus software such as ESET NOD32, Intego VirusBarrier, or Microsoft Security Essentials (Free), it would still be possible for hackers to bypass those anti-viruses software and get you infected. These anti-viruses software just gives you a much higher chance to prevent getting infected. A anti-virus software and a firewall is the minimum that you should have if you plan on using the internet.

Recommend FREE Software To Keep Your Computer Safe

Microsoft Security Essentials - This is 100% free from Microsoft. Normally, I don’t bother when free Anti-virus software because they are always lagging my computer with advertisement integrated into the anti-virus software. I also love Microsoft Security Essentials because it’s not a resource hog. You won’t even notice that it’s running in the background.

Windows Firewall – A firewall is a must if you want to prevent hackers from connecting to your computer. Windows firewall comes with Windows so you do not need to download anything. Just make sure that it’s enabled.

Malwarebytes Anti-Malware Free – There is no need to purchase the PRO version as the FREE version is good enough. Malwarebytes is great for detecting advanced malware.

Tips For Keeping Your Computer Safe & Clean From Viruses

Make sure you have a Anti-virus, firewall and Malwarebytes which is FREE. You can get them from the links above.

Keep your Windows updated with Windows’s Updates. You should check if there are any new updates at least once a week. I normally check two times a week. You can also set Windows to automatic check and automatically download updates if you wish.

Keep your programs updated as old programs may have exploits which hackers can take advantage of to get full control of your computer

Only run files you know is 100% safe. Don’t download files from people you don’t know. Even if you get a file from a family or friend, you should be careful. If the file looks suspicious, ask them if they really sent the file. There are viruses out there now that will infected users and send emails to everyone in their contact list without their permission and without them even knowing.

Always scan files before you open them with your anti-virus software or a free service that will analyze suspicious files for you such as VirusTotal. I actually love VirusTotal as it will scan the file you select with 45+ different anti-virus software. It’s not possible to scan your whole computer with VirusTotal, so just pick files you are suspicious of.

To be on the safe side, remember to back up all of your files, especially the important ones. You can use a online backup service such as Carbonite, USB drive, or even a DVD-R media (if it fits).

One of my favorite places to get stock photos for cheap is Veer. You can choose from millions of images and thousands of fonts with Veer. They are even offering 10 free credits if you register with them today. They have images for pretty much everything. It will be hard to not find what you are looking for at Veer.

What is Veer?

Veer is a marketplace for stock images and font buying website for designers and bloggers who wants cheap stock photos. It’s been online since 2009 and Veer basically sells stock photos, illustrations, vectors, and fonts.

Veer.com is a subsidiary of Corbis which is a well established within the stock photos business

Photos, illustrations, vectors and fonts are inexpensive

Search features with keyword suggestion with search options and price search

Accepts payment by Visa, American Express, and Mastercard.

Images start at $2 and fonts start at $9. There are millions of images and thousands of fonts to pick from so you have a lot of options to choose from. Veer.com also offers subscriptions for their images for $229/month or $2,388/year. For subscription based customers, you are allowed to download 20 images per day.

Don’t steal photos

Don’t assume that you can just legally go to a random website and steal images off their website and use it on your own without permission. You can definitely get into legal issues. If you don’t want to pay for stock photos, you can always go the free route and get them at free stock photo websites.

Free Stock Photo Sites

Veer provides a lot more images and higher level of quality images, but if you are looking for free stock photos website, here are my top 3 favorite sites:

http://www.sxc.hu/

http://openphoto.net/

http://stockvault.net/

Free or Paid Stock Photos

It depends on what type of images you are trying to find. If you found a high quality photo at the free stock photo sites I’ve listed above, I would go the free route. If you can’t find the photos you want at the free image sites, then I would try Veer as they have millions of high quality stock photos. It’s only $2/image so it’s not a big deal.

Everybody wants clear skin, but there is a lot of work involved in having clear skin. I know the feeling of having acne, scars, black heads, and oily skin. It sucks because it lowers your self esteem and makes it feel like everyone is looking at your skin for all the wrong reasons. Also, you must know your skin type before you can start the clear skin process since everyone is different. Do you have dry skin, oily skin, or normal skin? After you find out what type of skin you have, follow these tips to get naturally clear skin:

#1: Don’t pop pimples - I know it’s hard because I went through the same thing, but popping pimples will lead to scars which are about impossible to get rid off.

#2: Be careful of scrubs – Harsh scrubs will lead to irritation. Instead, use products such as the Clarisonic Mia 2 as it’s six times more effective than cleansing with your hands. This will allow you to wash your face properly

#3: Don’t wash your skin too much – It’s recommended to wash your face two times a day. Anymore than that could cause your skin to become dried and irritated.

#4: Moisturizer – Make sure you are using a lotion after washing your face. This will prevent your skin from drying. The American Academy of Dermatology recommends a lotion containing Benzoyl peroxide, but all skins are different so I would recommend talking to a dermatologist.

#5: Keep your Accessories and phone clean – Your glasses, phone, head wear, or even your nose ring can contain tons of bacteria which can cause breakouts.

#6: Remove your makeup – Before you go to bed, make sure you get rid of your makeup. Also, you should buy noncomedogenic or nonacnegenic makeup which will say on the makeup label. If you can, you should wear less make up

#7: Keep your hair away from your face – Make sure your hair is clean and style it away from your face. Hair naturally contains oil and you don’t want that oil in your pores.

#8: Wear sunscreen with a high SPF – If you are going out, make sure you are wearing sunscreen as a tan or sunburn will make your acne worst. Better yet, don’t stay in the sun for too long.

#9: Eat well and take daily multivitamins – Although it’s hard, you should avoid junk food and eat more healthy foods. Make sure you are eating lots of fruits, nuts, seeds and beans. Also, you should take multivitamins as it will be good for both your skin and health.

#10: Drink lots of water – We all know how water is good for your skin so make sure you are drinking at least 2 liters a day. Water cleanses your body and helps eliminate toxins.

I hope these tips has helped you clear your skin so you can confidently talk to people without having to worry about them staring at your skin. If your skin has not cleared up from these tips, you should see your dermatologist as they will know what’s best for your skin.

Durable Design

Space-Saving Design

Lock&Lock food storage containers also works well with keeping rice, flour, pasta, sugar, cookies or pantry items fresh for longer while keeping them securely stored in a neat and organize environment. Lock&Lock food storage containers offers a wide range of shapes and sizes. Each container has a securely locking lid for airtight storage to keep food fresh for longer and the clear containers makes it easy to identify contents easy without labels. These containers are airtight and watertight, but at the same time they are built for a long lasting use and hygienic and food safe storage.

The containers can withstand temperatures ranging from -4 degrees to 210 degrees F, which makes them suitable for freezer, microwave (reheating), and dishwasher (top-rack).

Saves You Money, Food & Save

Storage containers such as Lock&Lock keeps food airtight which will keep food fresh for longer which in return will save you money since you won’t have to throw the food away. You can store fresh or frozen foods, keeping them lasting longer.

Four-Sided Locking System

Lock&Lock’s food storage containers features an four-sided locking system which keeps food airtight so your food will stay fresh longer. By having a four side locking system, it will promote a stronger airtight seal and watertight seal. I really like how the locking system is designed as it’s easy to open and lock food. The Lock&Lock food storage containers are made of high-quality BPA-free plastic.

Tip: Remember to unlock all four latches and loosen the lid before you plan on reheating your food in the microware. You cannot use these containers to cook food in the microwave as it will ruin them. You are only allowed to reheat foods in the microwave.

The Blocking Hole System

The lids feature four side flaps that are hinged and flared at the end for an easy grip when you open these containers. They also comes with holes that line up matching knobs on the base of the contains which will make it easy to latch the lid to the base to lock it into place. This system helps maintain the integrity of the lid and helps promote an easy and tightly locked container.

Freshness Test

During testing for freshness of food, when compared to other brands, the permeability of Lock&Lock containers are shown to be drastically better.

Test results shows that Lock&Lock Airtight containers allows 3,000-6,000 times less moisture than other containers, making them far more airtight. Lock&Lock airtight containers passed the leakage test. Since these containers use a four-sided locking system, it makes it as airtight as possible due to equal pressure on all four sides.

There are many ways to convert old VHS to DVD such as services like iMemories which will convert your VHS to DVD for you, but today I will be showing you ways to convert VHS to DVD by yourself. There are a lot of guides out there telling you to buy a VHS to DVD recorder or buying a lot of software which is not needed and will end up costing you a ton of money. Here is the simplest and cheapest way to convert VHS to DVD…

Items Needed

Diamond VC500 Capture Device – This is the most important item as it will allow you to capture the video with a press of a button. This will cost you $35, but includes tools to capture videos and software to burn your videos onto a DVD. You can get the Diamond VC500 at Amazon.

VCR – I hope that you haven’t thrown away your old VCR as you will need it to capture the video from.

RCA Cables – You should have a few laying around. You will need two of these

Y-Cables – You will need 3 of these Y-Cables

Coupler – These are only $1.50 on Amazon. You only need one of these

DVD Writer – To burn your movies onto a DVD. The majority of computers will come with DVD Writers. If you don’t have one, I would recommend getting the Lite-On DVD Writer which will cost less than $25

DVD-R Discs – For burning your movies on. Verbatim Discs are my favorite.

Most likely, you will already have the DVD writer & discs so everything should cost you less than $45. Let’s get started with the VHS to DVD Guide. Videos are better than words, so here is a video which shows you how to connect the Diamond VC500 Capture Device.

Once you are done setting up the Diamond VC500 Capture Device, you should end up with a USB plug and the end of the RCA Cables. The USB plugs goes into your computer while the RCA cables connects to your VCR. This will allow you to capture what’s on the VCR onto your computer. From there, you can use the software which is included with the Diamond VC500 to record what’s on your VCR onto your computer and burn it to a disc.

Other VHS to DVD Guide

VHS to DVD Tutorial by Jan Vesely - Great tutorial, but requires a lot of software which will require a lot of money. Lots of pictures and guides you through the whole process.
