VyprVPN Software
VyprVPN comes with a free VPN software for Windows, Mac, iOS, and Android systems.
The VPN software is just a basic VPN software letting you pick your location and protocol with a few features. The only features that stands out is the re-connect when connection drop. It’s a cool feature, but I wish they would make it so your connection doesn’t leak for a few seconds while trying to reconnect if your connection drops. VyprVPN was very stable during my tests though so you shouldn’t worry about it.
Once you connect, VyprVPN will be sent into your system tray. Every time you reconnect, you will get a new IP address which I’m sure most people will like.
You don’t need to use the VPN software provided to connect to the VyprVPN VPN services. You can connect through PPTP using Windows/Mac OS X . Tutorials are provided by VyprVPN if you wish to go that route.

Speed Tests
My download speed is normally around 16-17 Mbps and 10-12 Mbps upload speed without a VPN connection. Here are the results of my speed test using VyprVPN while selecting a location near me:
My speeds using a VPN connection and not using a VPN connections are pretty close. You can’t really tell that you are on a VPN connection while you are surfing the web or watching YouTube videos.
Location & IP Addresses
VyprVPN is currently lacking in server locations. As of writing this review, they only have 16 server locations around the world. They do have an impressive 200,00o+ IP addresses though.
VyprVPN Vs VyprVPN Pro
The Pro version will cost you $5/month extra, but comes with free apps that will make VyprVPN work on iOS and Android. The VyprVPN pro also comes with PPTP, OpenVPN SSL, and L2TP/IPsec protocols compared to just the PPTP protocol for the $9.99/month plan of VyprVPN. You will also get 256-bit encryption compared to 128-bit encryption on VyprVPN Pro.

The Good

- The Price! The $9.99/month plan is lacking in features and the $14.99/month comes with all the features you want, but it’s not cheap.
- Two simultaneous connections can be used, but one connection needs to be from the desktop app and the other must be from the mobile app.
- Lack of server locations
Conclusion
The $9.99/month plan isn’t going to cut it for users wanting more protection and features. VyprVPN Pro on the other hand is great and comes with all the features you want in a VPN provider, but it will cost you $14.99/month. That’s an extra $5/month to upgrade to the PRO plan.
VyprVPN is a great VPN provider, but it would be better if they could lower the price or work in some kind of discount for customers subscribing to longer terms (3 months, 6 months, 12 months, etc…). If pricing isn’t a factor for you when choosing a VPN provider, then VyprVPN is definitely recommended.
